JOB DESCRIPTION

LTEMP is looking several Internal Sales Representative to expand our sales operations. S/he will prospect Mobile Accessories related businesses, manage sales accounts within specific territories, and report to the Sales Development Representative. Ideal candidates must exhibit a self-driven, go-getter, self-initiative spirit. Furthermore, s/he must be able to handle rejection during cold calling and convert them to warm leads.. The ISR role is  ideal for college students interested in exploring a sales career.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF DAILY ACTIVITIES

  • Prospect new business by cold calling/emailing (50-100 calls/day)

  • Generate sales lead, follow-up, and close

  • Become familiar with new products and create sales strategies/tactics

  • Research new prospect and data collection

  • Report leads to Sales Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (POTENTIALLY EARNED)

Technical Skills:

  • Information management: decent competency of MS Word Office and Google Spreadsheet (Word, PPT, Excel, etc) to apply towards B2B sales trips data entry, client account management (plan follow-ups, cold calls, cold emails)

  • Research and Planning: collect information on prospective businesses’ products, services, and potential needs; prepare a concrete sales plan to contact each respective business and sell relevant products or services that caters to their needs

  • Business Writing : ability to convey a point clearly and concisely when writing emails, proposals, copywriting, and sales plans, etc

  • Software Competence: potentially learn Salesforce CRM software, BigCommerce, Wholesale Central

Soft Skills:

  • Amiable Confidence:  friendly, polite, courtesy while being resolute, determined, and bold

  • Resilience: perseverance when facing potential objections and rejections

  • Positive Attitude: the ability to maintain optimism when facing hardships or difficulty

  • Persuasive Communication: deliver compelling and convincing speech while educating prospective clients on LTEMP products and services

  • Independence/Interdependence: can work with minimal supervision, however, can coordinate and communicate with team members to accomplish a collective goal or project

  • Entrepreneurial and Self-Starter Spirit: ability to contribute fresh, impactful ideas to the team and initiate action without permission

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

  • Ideally a current college student, business degree preferred (marketing, business administration, communications)

  • Other majors (humanities, etc) are also encouraged to apply

PREFERED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 0-1 year of sale experiences, preferably B2B sales.

  • Experience in public speaking or giving excellent presentations

  • Customer service experiences are valued

  • Knowledgeable: Exhibits a reasonable competence and interest in the latest Mobile Accessories and Smart-Phone trends

  • Coachable: Willingness to receive mentorship, improve via trial & error

  • Entrepreneurship: Excited and enthusiastic about learning about how to start a business

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Local SF Bay Area Applicants

COMPENSATION & EMPLOYMENT TYPE

  • Base Salary + Commission 

  • Entry-level Part-Time 20 hours minimum

  • M-F 9am-1pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm, occasional weekends

  • Remote/At-Home work, occasionally office drop-ins
