LTEMP SALES INTERNSHIP


 LTEMP OPERATIONS & BACKGROUND

Since 1999, LTEMP has been an established distributor and manufacturing company with offices & warehouses in Shenzhen, China. Our U.S. chapter started since 2012 in San Francisco, presently we looking to expand our team in our other U.S. offices. We specialize in OEM, ODM services and offer a myriad of mobile accessories. Currently, our target market involves wholesalers, retailers, and other distributors.

INTERN  DESCRIPTION

LTEMP is looking for both high school and college Sales Intern. S/he will learn how to  prospect Mobile Accessories related businesses, manage sales accounts within specific territories under the guidance of the Sales Manager and LTEMP team. Ideal candidates must exhibit a self-driven, go-getter, self-initiative spirit, and is constantly  hungry to learn and improve.  This role is  ideal for both high school/college students interested in exploring a Sales Career.

 

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF DAILY ACTIVITIES

  • Prospect new business by cold calling/emailing (50-100 calls/day)

  • Generate sales lead, follow-up, and close

  • Become familiar with new products and create sales strategies/tactics

  • Research new prospect and data collection

  • Brainstorm creative approaches to sale/market mobile accessory products

  • Product review (blog, Youtube, etc)

  • Work closely with Sales Manager

EXPECTED OUTCOMES (SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE LEARNED)

Technical Skills:

  • Common Professional Software: learn MS Word Office, Photoshop, Google Spreadsheet (Word, PPT, Excel, etc) in order to apply towards B2B lead generation, client account management (plan follow-ups, cold calls, cold emails)

  • Research,  Planning, Organization: learn how to collect  information on prospective businesses’ products, services, and potential needs; prepare a concrete sales plan to contact each respective business and sell relevant products or services that caters to their needs

  • Business Writing : develop the  ability to convey a point effectively and concisely when writing emails, proposals, copywriting, and sales plans, etc

  • Software Competence: potentially learn Hubspot CRM software, BigCommerce, Wholesale Central and other Social Media Platforms

Soft Skills:

  • Amiable Confidence:  friendly, polite, courtesy while being resolute, determined, and bold

  • Resilience: perseverance when facing potential objections and rejections

  • Positive Attitude: the ability to maintain optimism when facing hardships or difficulty

  • Persuasive Communication: deliver compelling and convincing speech while educating prospective clients on LTEMP products and services

  • Independence/Interdependence: can work with minimal supervision, however, can coordinate and communicate with team members to accomplish a collective goal or project

  • Self-Starter Spirit: ability to contribute fresh, impactful ideas to the team and initiate action without permission

EDUCATION BACKGROUND

  • Ideally a current college student, business degree preferred (marketing, business administration, communications)

  • Other majors (humanities, etc) are also encouraged to apply

  • High School Student

PREFERED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 0-1 year of sale experiences, preferably B2B sales

  • Experience in public speaking or giving excellent presentations

  • Customer service experiences are valued

THE RIGHT FIT

  • Commitment: Able to commit for 3-4 months or 1 year part-time

  • Results Oriented: Willingness to help Sales Team reach sale goals

  • Knowledgeable: Exhibits a reasonable competence and interest in the latest Mobile Accessories and Smart-Phone trends

  • Desire/Passion : Wants to learn more about a sales career in the business of manufacture, distribution, wholesale

  • Coachable: Willingness to receive mentorship, improve via trial & error

  • Entrepreneurial: Excited and enthusiastic about learning about how to start a business

  • Self-Driven: Ability to be proactive and move towards action

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Local SF Bay Area Applicants

 

COMPENSATION & EMPLOYMENT TYPE

  • Commission (Potential base pay)

  • Part-Time 20 hours minimum or Full-Time 40 hours

  • M-F 9am-1pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm, occasional weekends (Full-Time 9am-5:30pm)

  • Potentially Remote/At-Home work, occasionally office drop-ins
